Since we know pitcher wins and losses are meaningless, I’ll help Mr. Strauss by giving some context: 9.00 K/BB ratio, 3.35 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, .299 BAA. Indeed, not bad, especially considering his career numbers overall, though the BAA number is a bit high (2.07/4.58/1.44/.279).
