I looked up his preseason Speed score on BPro (0.7), and he isn't as fast as Gregor Blanco, Kelly Johnson or Yunel Escobar, but is about the same as Brian Barton (not sure how well those translate for players with limited major-league experience, though). I was surprised to hear that Pujols was being blamed for it on the STL morning talk shows. But agreed with La Russa that credit goes to Prado who absolutely raced down the line to beat it out.
