The Bob Broeg (St. Louis) Chapter of SABR meets monthly for a roundtable discussion of baseball news, research and trivia. Upcoming meetings for 2012:

• Saturday, January 28 — annual Hot Stove Meeting at Mike Shannon’s Steaks and Seafood in downtown St. Louis (more specific info on that to come).

Monthly roundtables, at The Original Crusoe’s, Osceola and Compton, South St. Louis, dinner after 5:30 with the business portion starting at 6:45, are as follows:

The roundtable meetings begin at 6:45pm and are held at Crusoe’s Restaurant (3152 Osceola St. St. Louis, MO 63111) in south St. Louis city. These meetings are open to the public, and non-members are welcome to attend.

In lieu of a roundtable meeting each January, the chapter hosts its annual Hot Stove Luncheon at Mike Shannon’s Restaurant. The luncheon features a panel of speakers and a gourmet ballpark-style lunch.
